Last Friday, two of my friends and I had dinner at a vietnamese restaurant in glorietta. ok rin, pero ang nakain ko lang that time e lumpia at tomato rice. Not satisfied with our 45-minute 'gimik', we decided to have a quick coffee somewhere near, kasi I had to leave at 9pm and we only had about 15 minutes left.
The nearest coffee place to us was Bo's Coffee Club so we went there. Medyo busog pa ako from our dinner and i had a queasy stomach so I decided to order what I thought would have the least effect on my queasiness. I didn't want any food or pastries kasi even their smell makes me want to vomit. I didn't want hot chocolate or milk kasi their smell makes me want to vomit. I didn't want the big coffee orders kasi busog nga ako, and they might make me poopoo. And I didn't want tea kasi nakakasama ng loob yun e - ang mahal mahal tapos ang ibibigay lang sa yo e hot water and a friggin tea bag!!! ikaw pa ang maghahalo! (pwede bang magbaon na lang ako ng lipton tea bag at hihingi na lang ako ng hot water?)
Enter: espresso with a DOLLOP of whipped cream.
Pangalan pa lang, tawa na kami ng tawa nung kasama ko, si Emkay. wala lang... nakakatawa lang how the word rolls from our tongue eh hehe
Anyway, medyo bad trip pa nga ako kasi when i was at the cashier, and i placed my order, the girl said, 'Ma'am, two XXXs of coffee lang yun.' Offended, I said, 'I know, yun lang talaga order ko...' Fine. Mukha bang hindi ko alam kung ano ang Expresso? este espresso pala?
Anyway, [ironically] LAKING gulat ko nang nakita namin ang aking espresso!!! (and sinamahan pa ng hot choco ni Emkay!)
aba'y parang kahit si mahal ay hindi mabubusog dun eh! hehe (peace, mahal!)
just kidding, natutuwa lang kami kasi ang liit liit ng tasa, our fingers wouldn't even go through the cup handle.
Pero wag ka, when i took a sip of the espresso...
Whappack! Ano ba to, red horse concentrate??? hahaha
Ayun, na-hyper ako for the rest of the 10 minutes we spent there! Pero short-lived ang hypermode ko kasi Nagtext na si RJ and i was to meet her so we can go home together.
Yun lang hehe =)
Trivia: Dollop - (n.) blob, splotch, spoonful, spoon, squirt. I figured out as much when we were at Bo's Coffee. pero squirt??? hehe
