| 9/11 Tribute |
(Reposted from zealot2007's bolt blog)
I can hardly believe this happened five years ago. I remember waking up one morning, with my mom shouting in front of the television: "&@%$#!!!" All I could do was gape.
On that day, the sun set a thousand times...
May all the victims of the 9/11 tragedy rest in peace. May all the families of the victims find their own peace. To the rest of us - may this serve as a painful lesson we should never forget. May this be a reminder for us to live a life with little or no regrets, to give our best in everything we do, and to value each and everything or everyone that comes our way. May we also not get involved in a cycle of hate or discrimination, and learn to forgive. The mistake or wrongdoing of one is not the mistake / wrongdoing of the whole. |

nice tribute for 9/11, tami. =)
naalala ko tuloy yung kanta dati nung greydskul ako. sabi:
let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me..
sana, dumating yung panahon na tayong lahat, all races and in all dialects, would breathe these words of hope.

thanks niel =) yung mga kantang ganyan, kay simple simple lang at usually sa parang 'kiddie' song. pero yung yung talagang malaman.
sana nga dumating ang panahong yun. but its one thing to hope and another thing to actually take actions towards this hope. sa ngayon, mashado pang individualistic ang mga tao para mangyari to. but someday, it will happen, kailangan lang may magumpisa. sabi nga rin:
'i believe the children are our future'
=) kasama pa rin tayo dun! =)
