High School Musical 2
I didn’t like High School Musical 2 much. I had too much high hopes in it not being the cliché second rate trying hard sequel. Unfortunately, thats kinda what it turned out to be.
For one thing, the songs, which were what made the first musical click was a bit dragging and I don’t know what happened to Sharpe but she was just an unbearable flirt! I only liked two songs out of the bit, both for its lyrics and how it was performed - You Are the Music in Me, which somehow sounds familiar, although I can't put my finger on it. And Gotta Go My Own Way, which I just have to post here because its so sound-and-song-worthy! Definitely two thumbs and two big toes up to Gabriella, who really made up for her last solo (in Musical 1) where she slightly looked like a pole dance apprentice at the bannister. Anyway, the dance segments were still as fantastic in Musical 2 as it was in the first!
On other matters, I just want to touch on the nude picture controversy that Vanessa got into. Its not that I condone taking nude pictures of yourself and then sending it to your bf/gf or friends for fun or for whatever purpose it may serve. Its just funny how being a public figure and - ok - a teen matinee idol at that can change you into something you are not. So what if Vanessa likes to do that? I mean how come she ended up apologizing when she was the victim of whoever spread that picture on the Internet? Some people can be really mean (related story to follow).
Lastly, before I give you the lyrics: when I was searching google for the controversy, I typed in the following "vanessa hodgens controbersy" and google came back with:
