Sabaday
My last two weekends have been hectic so I'm savoring every moment of this lazy Saturday morning, checking on my emails and stuff. I went on to surf for new music for my friendster and blog pages. Usually, I settle with the last LSS that comes to mind but I couldn't remember what it was, so... I looked through my ages-old mp3 collection and chose the song that most audio-lized my mood.
I initially settled for a Chicane song and had actually already placed it on my pages, when for some reason, I began searching for a Black Eyed Peas bit with James Brown - They Don't Want Music. I tried before to upload my mp3 of it on Imeem, but for some reason, it will only play for 30 seconds, so I wanted to just look for an existing one. Anyway, my hit generated 33 pages with 325 BEP entries, and since I had nothing better to do, I decided to look through all those pages. (Partida na kasi mejo mabagal ang Internet kanina.) Buti na lang din kasi I also found Gone Going (BEP feat. Jack Johnson), which I'll post next time, when the mood is right. =)
Anyway, I got curious with one particular entry - Its Run For Your Life originally done by The Beatles. But someone (Loo & Placido) turned it into a remix, which they called Black Beatles: Beatles vs. Black-Eyed Peas vs. Ludacris vs. Kelis. If you have speakers/headphones on, turn the volume up, because its really cute!
I didn't know that original Beatles song so I checked it out on You Tube, and here is the original (though the lyrics are kinda creepy for a Beatles song!) Some guy made a computer animated video of the song, featuring of course The Beatles themselves. Anyway, nakakatuwa lang. Imeem and YouTube are now my new favorite past time =)
