| First Day High |
It was my first day on the new job today. we had a whole day orientation with nine other new employees, a couple of ice breakers, snacks, lunch, and then snacks again. I felt like I did when I was a new freshman in my old high school. Sitting at the back of the room, talking to no one, until the friendliest person in the group - Mama Meg - came and talked to me. Oh well, some things may never really change. =)
I liked the people there. They all seemed down to earth and funny. Even the big bosses - department heads - and the Executive Director joined us for lunch after each oriented us in turn. The only thing i didn't like was that i can't do any personal stuff anymore on our computers. Big wawaaaahh!! ='( Everything that ever made me happy at OIC was now banned and blocked - from YM, to friendster, to bolt, to multiply, and even Yahoo Mail and Hotmail (HELLOOOO????) well yeah, ok, so this is all for office security and employee productivity, but what about the employee's happiness... doesn't that matter anymore???
of course, i am just kidding. this is probably for the best. its just going to be a really big adjustment for me, coming from a small office with unlimited internet access and full access to all sites with no boss around (= heaven hehe) to a big office with unlimited EMAIL access, limited access to internet sites, no boss around, but an IT department that can virtually AT WILL, although of course with reasonable justification to do so, pull out and read all messages coming in and out of our emails. There's a really thin line between ensuring maximum security and overstepping into a person's privacy. But i guess thats really how most big companies work.
well, some things to look forward to: a dress-up-in-a-50s-style costume christmas party, outings, sports fest, a company newsletter, outreach programs. and NOT to look forward to: third and fifth month evaluation! some are all so new to me, but all are both scary and challenging and exciting. Plus, Market Market's really near, I can visit my aunt and have unlimited access to facials and spas! And talk about shopping galore!!! =D There's also a fitness first branch at the Fort, sooooo.... gym, here i come again! =P But that is, if i can afford a gym at this point. hmmm... its workable i think =D. And hopefully, I'll have more free time on my hands to do other stuff outside work.
tomorrow's the real deal, i'll finish one more round of training and orientation until early afternoon, and presumably start working afterwards. I'm still a bit in limbo, so i cant wait to really start working so i'll have a picture how easy or hard it'll be. wah. Aja!

After the orientation, i dropped by my old office to fix up and pick up some stuff. then a few of my old ex-officemates, who from now on will be called OIC friends (to differentiate from my new officemates) and i had coffee at the Coffee Bean or more accurately, hot chocolate (yum!) and cake. I miss them already, and that's partly the reason why im so bummed out I have no YM access at my new work. Cos i have no means of talking with them during the day except through texting, which is so tedious and kakatamad.
Anyway, i'm not all that worried, cos i still intend to visit frequently and go out with them once a week (Hoy, EMKAY DIZON, wag niyo ko kakalimutan itext, nakaschedule yan! =p) and now that we dont see each other too often, i get to beso beso and hug them everytime i see them ! (which we never do when we see each other everyday) see, the no YM thing was compensated for after all. hehe =)
By the way, i'm so touched cos my friends seem more bothered than I am everytime I eat meat. Wala lang... tenenen time... hehe =)

hmmm... I am in deep *toot*. because of my *toot* with *toot* who is also the *toot* of *toot*. I don't know what to do anymore with *toot* or with *toot*; whether i should go for *toot* or if i should tell *toot* and what would happen to us if i did do whatever I'm planning to do.
I don't know what to do so i'll just *toot*.. este think about it muna hehe
But i do *toot* *toot* =( I want to be with *toot* But if I did, and if ever things go well, its gonna *toot* *toot* and i dont want to do that. Because *toot* and *toot* are both *toot*.
And the lesson is: Never ever fool around with a friend and never ever fall in love (or think you're in love) with one either. But the biggest NEVER EVER is if you do both.
